DEMOCRACY
DICTATORSHIP
DYNASTY

(August 15, 1759 - May 5, 1821)
Napoleon Bonaparte was a French general who rose to
power and became emperor of France after the French
Revolution. Napoleon played a key role in the French
Revolution as he was first appointed first lieutenant to the
4th regiment of artillery. His strategy would pay off as he
helped the people of France overthrow the monarchy.
However, Napoleon wanted more of that as he rose
further with his best-known strategy as general. Eventually,
Napoleon would be crowned emperor of France and
would start a conquest in Europe. However, the conquest
during the Napoleonic Wars wouldn't last as Britain, Russia,
and other European countries defeated Napoleon and
resulted in his exile.
