DEMOCRACY
DICTATORSHIP
DYNASTY

(June 4, 1738 - January 29, 1820)
George III was a king and ruler of the United Kingdom
and Ireland from 1760 until he died in 1820. George III's
contribution as king was winning the Seven Years' War
between the French. The British Empire would expand
North America with the 13 colonies and north of New
France, which is modern-day Canada. However, the legacy
of George III would dwindle as the 13 colonies won
their independence against the British, which is now
modern-day U.S.A. During the last decade of George III's
rule as king, he would be in rage and mentally ill due to his
age, and he earned the nickname "The Mad King."
