DEMOCRACY

DICTATORSHIP

DYNASTY

(December 18, 1878 - March 5, 1953)

Joseph Stalin is a revolutionary figure and the most brutal

dictator in the Soviet Union. Stalin was influenced by

Vladimir Lenin's Bolsheviks party during the Russian

Revolution of 1917. When Vladimir Lenin died in 1924, Stalin

would become the second leader of the Soviet Union. Also

known as "the Red Terror," Stalin would imprison innocent

people as they would be sent to the Gulag and even his

own generals and political parties. The reason has to do

with Stalin's paranoia in believing people would come after

his spot as leader of the Soviet Union. Stalin's legacy was

being the second brutal dictator who killed 10 to 20 million

people under his regime.
