DEMOCRACY
DICTATORSHIP
DYNASTY

(July 29, 1883 - April 28, 1945)
Benito Mussolini was an Italian politician and journalist who
turned into a dictator of Fascist Italy. Before the reign of
Mussolini, he was once part of the communist ideology but
then envisioned the idea of believing in the hierarchy. By
1919, Mussolini founded fascism, a far-right group that
believed in one ruler who took total control of a nation.
Mussolini began his fascist reign in 1922 and took control of
innocent people in Italy. When World War II broke out,
Mussolini aligned with Hitler's Nazi Germany and Hirohito's
Empire of Japan. Mussolini's reign would end as he was
overthrown and killed by angry mobs of Italians on
April 28, 1945, resulted of Italy's liberation from fascism.
