Claudia Sheinbaum is a Mexican politician and an

environmental engineer who became president of

Mexico. Before Sheinbaum entered the world of

politics, she had an interest in studying physics at

UNAM. Sheinbaum would graduate from UNAM

and would remain there as a faculty member for

physics. However, Sheinbaum's career in physics

wouldn't last long as she would involve herself in

politics. Sheinbaum would become a political activist

in the mid-2010s as she first became mayor of Tlalpan,

a municipal district in Mexico. Then, Sheinbaum would

become the Head of Government of Mexico City and

then become the first female in Mexico to be elected

as president in 2024.
